Built in 1912, the Friedman-Mincer Building occupies one corner of a prominent intersection in downtown Fort Smith. Though much of the original brickwork remains, the first floor storefront has been entirely replaced with inappropriate infill material. The roof and third floor have also suffered partial collapse.
This renovation project includes repair of the historic exterior and complete reconstruction of the interior. Offices will occupy the second and third floors, while the first floor will be left available for future tenants.
