Texarkana, Texas-native Ben Cruce came to Fayetteville in 2006 to pursue a degree in architecture in the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design at the University of Arkansas. While in the program he studied abroad in Rome as well as Mexico City where he won the Hnedak Bobo International Design Award.
Ben also participated in the Camp Aldersgate Design Build program. He and the design team were awarded the John A. White Faculty Student Collaboration Award for their work at the camp. Ben graduated with his Bachelor of Architecture in May 2011 and started working at deMx architecture that fall.
Ben earned his official architecture license in 2018.
